Our Leadership
Pastor Dr. Joshua Pittman
Pastor Joshua Pittman is the Founder and Lead Pastor of Virtue Church. For the past three years, he has faithfully served as a licensed minister under the leadership of Apostle Anthony McCoy. With more than 20 years of experience in the field of education, Pastor Pittman also holds a doctorate in Educational Leadership from Kennesaw State University.
Driven by a heart for people and a vision for transformative ministry, Pastor Pittman is passionate about restoring hope, reforming lives, and releasing individuals into their God-given purpose—especially within the marketplace. A committed lifelong learner, he continues to strengthen his spiritual development through Third Way Collective and Uncommon Calling Collective, led by Pastor Dharius Daniels of Change Church.
When he is not serving in the educational sector or within the church community, Pastor Pittman enjoys exercising, listening to personal development audiobooks, watching movies, and spending quality time with his loving wife and wonderful children.
First Lady Mrs. Latesha Higgs-Pittman
First Lady Latesha Higgs-Pittman is a co-founder of Virtue Church, as well as a passionate mental health speaker and advocate, author, mentor, and educator.
At Virtue Church, First Lady Pittman dedicates her leadership to two key ministries:

VIBE Youth: The church's student ministry, created to empower youth of all grade levels through connection, discipleship, and spiritual growth.

WIVES (Women of Integrity, Virtue, Excellence, and Strength): This ministry equips women to uphold the sanctity of marriage and thrive as co-laborers in their calling, fostering a safe and encouraging sisterhood for spiritual growth.
Mrs. Pittman’s influence extends beyond the church walls through her professional and civic engagements. She is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and is the Founder and Executive Director of The Diva Effect, Inc. Women’s Ministry—a non-profit organization that educates, elevates, and empowers women and girls to live a life of healing and purpose.
Furthermore, she is the Founder and CEO of The Jade Chrysallis, LLC—a specialized educational services firm dedicated to elevating educator performance and designing high-impact learning experiences. As a highly sought-after motivational and mental health speaker and advocate, Mrs. Pittman frequently shares her personal healing journey and insights on balancing mental wellness with faith.
When First Lady Pittman is not serving others through her many roles, she enjoys preparing home-cooked meals for her cherished husband, hiking, reading, dancing, and fellowshipping with close friends and like-minded couples over a meal or a night out on the town.

Our Story
In 2024, Joshua read Activate Heaven by John Eckhardt, and during that season the word “VIRTUE” was deeply impressed on his heart. It revealed a significant gap in ministry—the need for all people to be taught, through grace and truth, how to live like Jesus Christ. Joshua believes that every individual needs a happy, healthy, and humble soul in order to live righteously. As Pastor Dharius Daniels of Change Church often says, “The quality of your life is determined by the condition of your soul.”
After sharing this revelation with First Lady Latesha, the two committed themselves to pursuing a lifestyle of virtue through Christ. Reflecting on Habakkuk 2:2–3, “Write the vision; make it plain,” Latesha encouraged Joshua to put the strategic plan on paper and cover it in prayer. From those prayers, and from that season of intentionally seeking God, VIRTUE Church was birthed through intercession in June 2025.

V.I.B.E. Youth Ministry
Our Youth Ministry exists to lead children into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ by teaching God’s truth in a fun, safe, and engaging environment. We partner with families to build a strong spiritual foundation, helping every child learn to love God, live with virtue, and share His light with others.
Intercessory Prayer Team
Our Intercessory Prayer Ministry exists to seek God on behalf of our church and city, covering every need, mission, and assignment through intentional and powerful prayer. As watchmen and intercessors, this team partners with the Holy Spirit to prepare the way for God’s movement in our services and daily lives.

Outreach Ministry
The Outreach Ministry exists to make Christ known through intentional acts of service, evangelism, and community engagement. We seek to build relationships, meet needs, and create bridges that lead people toward hope, healing, and transformation through Jesus.
